Today is full of glittery grapes celebrating birthdays and we decided to feature our top three: Nicole Kidman (45), Lionel Ritchie (63), Errol Flynn (103).
NK has been on the vine for a while and we were in love with her fashion post-Tom (she has fallen off a bit since “going country”). Although Nik seems to be a cold fish and isn’t going to win any mommy-of-the-year awards from her first kids with Tom, we are in the business of hoping for a turn-around. Nicole, please start being a mom to your FIRST kids!
Hello….Lionel Richie seems ageless! He is a true grape as he gets better with time. Although he has had his struggles in his personal life (the crazy divorces, the heroin-turned-good girl daughter), his musical career has remained intact. This Alpha Phi Alpha member has scored number one hits on both the R&B and Country music charts. He has also helped raise over $3million for the breast Cancer Research Foundation in honor of his grandmother.
The original Robin Hood, Errol Flynn would be 103 years-old today. He was stylish and rebellious in his prime and was known as ‘The King of Swashbuckler’ movies (eat it Johnny Depp!). Errol’s personal life was also filled with drama - married three times, friends with drug smugglers, and bouts of alcoholism. He died at age 50 but the doctors concluded that “he had the body of a 75 year-old”. Even still, we love him so.
